Exterior wall deterioration survey by drone (infrared image inspection)

If the building deteriorates, concrete (mortar) and tiles may float and fall.

According to the Building Standards Act, buildings designated as designated are required to be surveyed and reported after 10 years.

It is called "Article 12 inspection of the Building Standards Act".

In the past, there was only one way to find a dangerous place and report it by a qualified person hitting the wall with a hammer and judging by the sound. (It is said that there are many of them even now) [percussion test].

However, the only way to get down high places was to build scaffolding or hit a hammer with a lifeline from above.

It is neither costly nor artificially realistic.

In the future, I think that the number of infrared cameras using drones will increase.

If you take a picture of the wall with an infrared camera during the day, it will be clear at a glance as shown in the photo.

The floating part becomes hot and is photographed red as shown in the photo.

This time, we rented an abandoned school in Hamamatsu City and conducted shooting training.

The Shizuoka Prefecture Western Drone Operators Association has several companies that own machinery and equipment.
